A cool falcon wagon and another of my neighbor's corvairs. Nice to get the kids out for a walk after a couple rainy nights

That Falcon wagon is cool, just munching on mulch without a care in the world. It's much more common to see some of the periods more upscale wagons because they were worth saving. Not many Falcons at all left.

Love the Co rvair convertible too. That guy has a great collection.

My HS auto shop teacher Mr Fishback (late 1980s ftw) had a bunch of falcons like my neighbor has a bunch of corvairs. All cool stuff. There is also a Studebaker fan nearby. Ill have to snap a pic of their truck, as the Avanti and (Champion?) stay garaged

There is a Falcon sedan at the local fire museum I’ve posted and I also saw one today on the road, but they were such an ordinary car that not many were preser ved. It wasn’t unconventional like the C orvair or flashy like a 55 Bel Aire.

Wow, Studebaker! That’s one brand that doesn’t have much of a following today. The Studebaker pickups also had quite a distinct look so I know I haven’t been missing them among a sea of C10s and F100s. I can’t remember ever seeing one outside a car show. Never seen an Avanti either. Champion was the smallish coupe I believe. Like this one I saw?

Yeah that bullet front is awesome. I used to pre-covid (my hours are a little later now) see a cool Falcon sedan on my commute often but I dont grab the phone while driving. The Studebaker peeps do have some kind of airstream as well and a tractor of some sort as lawn ornament. Probably 8 vehicles plus airstream. I chatted up the guy many years ago abt the Avanti, his wife walks with a friend past me daily and quick chat. Maybe I need to get an in!

I kind of feel the same way about the Mercedes collector I live near. He’s got by my estimates somewhere around 15 cars (that would just stress me out) including a fire engine, but most are black Mercedes or AMG models. He’s got a lovely fintail out front that never moves. I should volunteer as a test driver to keep that gas from going bad. He's got a little of everything though. I never see him outside though so I don't get many chances for a chat.
